One Piece Oishi Green Tea Collection

Before I decided to drink them all up, I should take good photos of my new One Piece green tea collection bought by Calv last week at Thailand.

 

The packaging are adorable and attractive – probably because I am a big fans of this anime? Or it is because of the ‘person’ who bought them all the way from Thailand? Haha.. well, I say both ;)

Aren’t they adorable? =D

 

Especially the pink one – Chopper! Among all the 6 packages, I love this the most. Chopper is one of my favorite character in One Piece. He is simple adorable <3

 

 

Another reason is because, the box is pink in color together with pink straw! Guess what, with strawberry flavour. Emm… now i wonder how it will taste.

What the FROG?

I have never taken frog seriously until lately, I am paying more attention to this creature – since Thursday.

 

I am serious! Like yesterday, when I was walking in the mall to do my long-time-no-do window shopping (ever since become a teacher, I am even conscious of my own spending. So, window shopping is what I did. No different when I was a student =.= ), my eyes keep spotting Frog items such as frog mug, frog soft toy, frog bottle, frog slipper, frog handphone bag, frog keychain and frog, frog froogg.. >.<

 

Before this, my focus is more on Panda because it is my casual jokes on Calv – because his eyes really like panda when he didn’t sleep well.

 

But now.. the focus is on the green creature because lately, Teach For Malaysia fellows were being invited to attend training organized by Frog in KL to explore the possibilities for future collaboration using technology in our classrooms. Here are the badges I received from their freebies. Yay! =D

And guess what? Frog is working together with Teach For Malaysia in all selected 17 schools in KL, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. It is awesome!  Imagine the possibility of using use technology for virtual learning in the classroom. Students are engaged, their achievement improved and you become happier teacher =)

If you can’t imagine how technology is used in the typical non-conditioning classroom in Malaysia, the photo below are good examples. They were taken during Teach For Malaysia Week when Datin Kathleen visited my school at SMK Jalan Reko with the Frog team. They brought 30+ chrome books (or known as netbook), projector and own internet 4G connection from Yes.

 

It was really cool! I can imagine myself learning with teacher who use chrome book, projector and fast speed wireless in the classroom tho I will never get the chance to taste it like a student… =(

   

Behind the scene team. My students were nervous and excited at the same time with all the attention given on them. Lol…

 

We are currently at the brainstorming stage to explore, discover and work on every possibility that we think will success and helpful for both the teacher and students. The only concern I have now is, will this sophisticated idea help the students to succeed in academic? Will the teacher save more time in teaching when implementing this method? Will all these prepare the students to be a better learner? I don’t know and I would like to find out.

 

For me, I will just need a projector, a speaker and a laptop if I want to implement this virtual classroom concept. I did it before in my Form 1 Civic class and received full engagement and participants from my students.

 

 

They even came out with creative ideas that I have never thought of. Well, technology can truly enrich the experience for both teachers and students.
But why my teachers never did that on me geh? =(

 

Well, back to my 2 days training at Jalan Sentul, KL with the passionate frog teams. The experience was really fun, enriching, inspiring and touching with all the efforts given by both Frog and Teach For Malaysia teams. Our goals are aligned, and no matter how far the discussion been brought to, the end product will still FTK – For The Kids.

 

Besides FTK, there is still FUA – For Us All.. =P

 

Our breakfast, tea time and lunch were attended warmly by the team.

I have never eaten something as nice as this. They even got the best scorn in town! I wonder why they have such a great taste? I thought they just eat flies and bugs?Impressive! =D

 

In the end of the day, we did group discussions between TFM and Frog teams. We used mahjong paper to brainstorm and our final products received recognition from the Frog! We managed to make it through for Frog’s Wall Of Fame! Famous~~ * proud for no reason*

 

This is my team’s product. Everyone brainstormed and came out with idea while I wrote and drew on the paper using marker pen. I pretty like how it turned out, especially with the frog. Now I know! Must be the cute mascot of Frog that made me having a crush on the real green creature (which I never really liked before because of the mucus and it jumps!).

 

The training was so awesome that I didn’t get the chance to do my ‘eggie’s-fashionable-note-taking’. OMG! The way they presented their material using Prezie were too attractive while the presenter showed infectious  persona. As a result, my concentration was fully on them and hardly on my purple sketchbook.

 

  I leave a large space with the hope that I could doodle what I had learned in the past two days. Now I am in day 2 after the training and it still remains empty. Lol..

 

Dunno how Captain America came into the mind when the presenter gave an example of a scene. And shit! I don’t know is Captain America real name is Steve?

 

Anyway, ya.. That's all about Frog. FROG! *jump jump*

 

P/s: Should I fund raising for a projector so that my students can benefit from it? If yes, where and how can I start it?

 

P/s/s: I won a first prize for winning the highest vote for my Frog site design (not too sure what does it call =.=!) so I got a Yes 4G top up credit from Frog. Awesome! I received a dongle from Datin Kathleen during TFMweek. Now, I can have some free credit and try it out at school. Thank you Frog and Yes! Yes! =D

The Definition of Kelly

I was at a gift shop and found a stand of keychain with various names when I was in Australia few days ago. Luckily, I found ‘Kelly’. Well, it is pretty common (but beautiful name!). Guess what it says?

Devoted, kind and warm-hearted, her qualities and charms are unequalled, her smile can touch your very soul, never under-estimate her as she is a constant source of amazement, overflowing with zest and energy, she enjoys life to the fullest, for it is the only way she knows.

 

It sounds beautiful and somehow, true to me too. I find myself enjoy life very much, even just a simple, small thing with nature or people whom I cared and loved. Guess, this is one of the reasons why I always have things to blog in these 4 years+?

 

By the way, I am not too sure with the statement ‘her smile can touch your very soul’. Maybe my smile does touch someone’s heart, like yours? Did you? =)

Why Oh Why Xmas Tree In Pavilion?

I don't know why but feel disappointed with the Xmas decoration in Pavilion this year. Why oh why? Blame me for my stupidity or being inartistic.

Whatever~

I just don't enjoy looking at this X'mas tree. Besides me, I did hear lot of complain from my friends and other bloggers. So, I guess I'm not the only weird one... This Xmas tree looks like a cake to me. Or maybe a cake which make by tissue paper? Emmmmm.... I wonder..




Why oh why?
Can anybody correct my view if I'm wrong? I do hope to leave a better impression on Pavilion's Xmas tree this year. Help?

The Wackiest I Would Do to Race for N96

When I didn't receive any email from Nuffnang on 24th of November 2008, I thought my mission to continue my race for N96 has been terminated. Despair and disappointment set in and I felt unwillingness to blog anymore. It was like the end of my day when I have to accept the fact of not being selected for Nokia 2nd round race.

I have been dreaming of using time wisely by feeding myself with all my favourite songs, playing online games, updating my Facebook and Twitter status, upload new photos and video clips and blog them lively while waiting for classes or during break time in varsity.

Besides, having this phone will allow me to fully use Ovi facilities. Thank to David for introduce this website for me and I found it cool! I can directly update my photo in Ovi and make it a slideshow for my blog like in my sidebar. Cool right? It is much faster than slide.com. And I want to play games in N96!!!

It sounds like multi-tasking but seriously, we, the new generation of high technology users can handle this, right?

I thought I won't get one that early because I've never expected my mum will buy me one. Ahhwwwwwwwww..... Mum.. thank you a lot. I really love you!

I guess she has never see the passive side of me when we are going out. For all the while, I'm the one who jump here and there, climbing the stairs, stand on the stool and whatever a blogger will do for photo shooting. Besides, I'm going back to my hometown again and without a camera, it is so inconvenient.

Honestly, being an adult (I guess I'm an adult now), I don't wanna use much of my parents money as I feel like I'm responsible to take care the family very soon. I feel guilty when mum bought me a new camera. I should buy myself.

So, right now, I'm trying to look for job and earn some money. At the same time, I hope I can pay her or maybe treat her for dinner? Emmm.....

Well, this is my new eggie-cam (new label for my camera). Oh my. She is so gorgeous. I love her a lot! It's not a DSLR for sure. Not now, but future.. :)

To be frank, this car is intriguing. I like the it's design-gorgeous! If I've the money, I will consider myself in buying it. Feng Shui, Should We Believe It?

2008 is just a stone throw. How is everybody preparation? Ready for this brand new year?

Talking about 2008, my mind is thinking about Chinese New Year. It will be another a month plus. For the Chinese, we're at the end of the Fire Boar year right now, and are leading to the year of mouse. So usually, the Chinese will clean the house, change the position of the furniture, buy new decoration and etc.. Why we did this? One of the reason will be: Feng Shui.

There are even Feng Shui tips for the handphone subsriber in everyday. This has showed us, how influential Feng Shui is in our society especial for the Chinese.

One question from me. Do you believe in Feng Shui? As for me... I believe 60%.

I always believe that, having the right position for the bed will help in avoiding nightmares and even insomnia. I don't know why but it's true. I couldn't have a restless sleep whenever my body is facing the door, I mean when the bed is parallel to the door.

However, I sleep like a pig when my bed is away from the door. This can be explained by this website.

Besides, there is a belief that the kitchen(fire) and the toilet(water) should never been located against each other or your family will keep on quarreling or fighting through out the year. It did happen on my neighbour before. Pots, plats, cups and anything that can be reached in the kitchen were always flying on the air... (That's mean fighting). Realizing the problem which occur in the family, the husband's mother asked one of the 'sifu' to go to the house and check the 'feng shui'. One of the biggest mistake was the wrong location between the kitchen and the toilet. He explained it and finally, they renovated the kitchen and the bathroom and things are getting much better. There are less quarrels and fightings.

Don't that sound miracle? Or just a coincident?

However, not all feng shui can be trusted. Some are influenced by the business strategies that will only convince you to buy their products with high price. So be wise.

You might have heard Joey Yap and Lilian Too before if you're a Malaysian, don't ya?

Talking about Lilian Too, she shows us on how to gain good energy with the right arrangement in a house and even in rooms which is a great idea. She will give you the idea on where should be the door, the bed, the table, the windows and etc. However, the location will change each 3 months.

This is the suggested location from 7th December 2007 to 5th January 2008 by Lilian Too ( a famous feng shui practitioner from Malaysia)

Well, I can't follow every advices that she has suggested because, all the location will change every 3 months, and of course, every year. Besides, she will recommand you with new item each time, for example 5 element pagoda, crystal,camel, turtle dragon and etc. Of course, they are expensive if you wanna get them in her shop.

If you ask me, should I believe in Feng Shui... I prefer to believe in myself first! Because I believe, every luck that we gain depend on how hardworking we're and how we catch every opportunity that comes.

I couldn't stop my eyes from looking at those discounts whenever I passed by almost every shop in the hypermarket. They are tempting me and it's hard for me to resist it. I love sales! I love promotion! And I love DISCOUNT!

I feel like spending all my money that I've.
Spend! Spend! Spend! Yahooooo!!!!

There is a 1 month mega sales promotion starting from 1 December to 31 December 2007 in Midvalley and I am going to join it. Why I love promotion?

Well, let's say you've spotted a dress and you know you've fallen in love with it (love in first sight). What has changed your mind in buying it immediately was the 'unreasonable' price. So, you leave it and go away. After a month, you return to the store again and you saw 50% discount for you dress that you love. The prices will be less from RM1200 to RM600! Isn't that you've saved a great amount of $$$?

I have a friend who was so mad when she realised that the blouse that she bought for RM350 turned up to be RM175 on the very next morning. What should I say to her? Sorry? I believe some of you might meet this problem before. HATE IT!!!


Tips For Spending Wisely:

1. Wait for the sales. You can kindly ask the promoter for the date.
   
2. Bring your trusted friends along so that they can give you a good, right idea. Most of the sales promoter (exclude me) will give false comment in order to convince you to buy that unattractive dress. Of course, you should ask yourself whether do you like it? Do you really need it? Is that you really want?
   
3. Think twice before having the desire to buy anything. Ask yourself, do you really need it? Once you think, you'll know the right answer.
4. Don't bring along with too much of credits. Limit yourself. Stop using credits card if you really bad in handling the temptation to buy things. It may safe you from big disaster: Pay the long, rolling bill.. in the end of the month.
5. Re-use your old stuff. Some of your old stuff might be re-used again. So, don't throw it away and use it. For example old bag or old shirt. You can do some D.I.Y to make them look better. Who knows? It might turn up to be fashionable? *Wink*
6. Get a rich Boy friend. Haha... Ask him to pay every things for you. Smart uhh? (But I won't use this.. lol... )
   

Girls love clothes, bags, shoes and accessories and you can't blame me for that. No matter how strong the temptation is, my rational mind is still functioning. I am not a shopaholic. So, you don't have to worry too much on me for over-spending because it rarely happen.. (ok.. I admit...I did over spend before.. And it was hurt..)

They just love shopping.. You know who I mean don't ya?
