The New Eggie – June Version

Hi guys! How are you lately? Do you miss me? =)

 

Look like it has been a long time since my last update. I wonder are you still keeping up with my update? No matter what, I am going to start this blogging activity once again, continue whatever I’ve left behind. This was once a home for me and it is going to be home again from now onwards.

 

I guess 1st June 2011 is a good time to say bye-bye to past and say hello to new start for the next 7 months of the year – just like our electrical tariff which increase with from RM10.70/mmBTU to RM13.70/mmBTU. Well you see, people around us always expect us to improve from time to time and we can clearly see this value in our government. They are improving too. yay!

 

Back to curryegg’s story, if you notice this blog post title you will soon scroll down to her latest hairstyle of the month. It is a good indication for a new start, right?

Someday

I was greeted with a “Good morning Kelly. Are you going to sleep or just wake up?" message from a friend, Kiang Wei.

 

Then only I realize that it is already 6.00am in the morning and I have yet to sleep. Well, I did take an hour of nap in between of the long waking hours. Surprisingly, I don’t feel sleepy at all. I guess my yesterday full, sweet ‘marathon sleeps’ had helped me to stay awake now with fresh mind. Thank God =D

 

Shy to say that I am actually still editing my thesis work. I’ve been trying to progress as fast as I can, but then… the work is not reaching the ‘average level’ =((

 

Anyway, it is going to end very soon! Can’t wait to return all the library books, clean my messy room and stay out my butt from the house! Yay!

 

While working over the night, I am so deeply in love with this song ‘Someday’ by IU. It companies me during my thesis writing. I am gonna share it right here and make you feel deeply in love like I do =D

 

 

IU voice is so melodious and angelic. Love this song so so much though I don’t really understand… =P

 

And someday, I want my future prince charming to bring an umbrella, give me candy, hold my hand and secretly kiss me like Woo Young does. Haha.. It is so fantasy but me like.. *shy*

 

Right after all these crazy work, I am going to get this Korean drama from a friend and watch till kao kao. High school love is always pure and innocent. That has reminded me of someone who used to knock my head and pull my ponny tail. Wait, there were 3 of them! =_=

Update:

1) I am almost done with my thesis writing. Another 1 chapter to go. Then proof reading, references and abstract writing. I have good feeling that the work will be done by today (Wednesday!)

2) Sad that I have to skip my trip to Kuching which is supposed to be today 9.30am flight (Wednesday). Sob. I thought I can fly by myself for the very first time. Sigh…. Burn ticket burn.. What to do, thesis is more important than personal interest =((((

3) Thank for all the supports and encouragement which I have received from you guys. They warm my heart and lift up my ‘fighting spirit’ <3

Super Crazy Deal @Cheapskate

Cheapskate.com.my was launched on 22nd April 2011 and they are now ready to give the first awesome deal for 5 hours of Offroad Pitbike Adventure for 3 persons at RM399 (instead of RM750)!

 

 

 

 

Well, being very frank, I am not a motor biker. The only thing which I know is to sit at the back seat and enjoyed being rode. Oh, by the way.. I am a good cyclist you know. I used to cycle to school, back and forth when I was in secondary school.

So, when I am looking at the first deal, offered by Cheapskate.com.my, I think very hard whether to receive the challenge or not. I’ve come across with this phrase which made me think twice (even thrice)..

You see, I don’t like being challenged and was tempted to buy the voucher instantly. In my mind, there is nothing I can’t do, including extreme outdoor activities because I used to be:

 

 

1) A 6th place marathon winner at State level (2002)

2) Winner of marathon runner during in secondary school (2003 & 2004)

3) Winner of marathon runner at PLKN Bukit Besar, Kedah (2005)

4) A 18th place marathon winner in UM (2007)

5) Scout – Won for dancing, cooking and marching competition

6) Volley ball state player + UM level

7) What else?

 

 

P/s: I’m not a sportsman seriously.

 

But then… the list above is history. Ya, well I admit that. I am no longer that active and I realized my muscles are softening (lembik). The last extreme activities which I had done was last year, cycling at Bukit Cahaya. Unexpectedly, I fainted half way. I was lucky as Eric was there, saving me from the ‘nightmare’.  You might wanna read about that (here).

 

 

Oh, and next is climbing the Broga Hill too. It took me hours to reach the top hill and being very restless after that.

 

 

Sigh… I think I am old oledi… =((

 

No more stamina which I used to have. No more passion for outdoor activities. I think, I have been staying indoor too much.

 

I wanna bring back the active side of me. Being the not-an-ordinary-eggie, again. It’s time to hatch out from the egg after all the thesis writing. Hmpm!

Well, should I take the challenge and buy the tickets, or leave the great offer to you guys? Time is ticking and I am still thinking.

 

 

Left 4 days and 21 hours to think…. em….  Should I give it a try?

It is created within seconds. Lol..

I just couldn’t stop smiling while looking at the photo which was taken last Saturday, before leaving the rented house with Shu Huan.

 

Both Shu Huan and I have cleared all our stuff and moved out from the house, leaving nothing but eggs. Err… I mean chicken eggs.

 

Our housemates were not around during the cleaning day. So, I thought of leaving them a note on top of the plastic container and it sounds like this:

 

 

I know…

It sounds so wrong. But the motto is still cool.

 

 

So, let’s come again,

“Remember Egg, Remember Curryegg”
