'Make-up' or 'Naked'?

My last Facebook status was one of my favorite collection so far. I received good amount of responses from my Facebook friends and mostly, guy replied in a very creative way. Don't believe me? Click on the picture below to enlarge it.

Status:
An aunt said, "Woman without make up is like not wearing clothes. Gosh! I just realized I am naked all the time.

P/s: What an unorganized size of pictures. Should really learn my edit photos properly.. sigh..

Now I am wondering, are they attracted with the word 'make-up' or 'naked'?

Sea Shell Museum And The Beach At Sanya

Yes. The Sea Shell Museum which is one of the must visit area if you are in Sanya, China. I can't remember how much is the entrance fees. Anyway, what you can find in Sea Shell Museum is of course: Sea Shells.

What do you expect?
Lol..

This is where you can find your pearls..

The thorny shell.

Star fish! I feel like wearing them like the mermaid.
I mean on the head!

The Angel Wings, one of the famous seashells in Sanya. Do they really look like a pair of angel wings?

Cyrtopleura costata linnaeus

Well partly, I am just joking. I don't mean you can only get seashells in this area. Besides the sea creatures, you can get your feet walking on their famous beach too. Frankly, the museum doesn't attract me much, except the gift shop in which I can get lot of beautiful handwork there.

The walls in the exhibition hall. Creative isn't it? :)

I just had a very quick snapped on those selected shells which I think are unique before heading to the beach which is located not far away from the exhibition hall. The tourist guide, Ah Li was pretty sure that we will like their Sanya beach (Hainan Province, China).

True enough that the beach did attract us. I mean, a lot.

The soft sands, the clean sea water, the friendly surrounding and various of water activities have really stolen my heart.

*gasp*

You see. I hardly write anything on the sand. It is too soft to hold my alphabets. I wonder, is Pulau Redang (Malaysia) sands as soft as this? Anyone be there before?

The massage corner.

I want to ride on the speed boat, the banana boat, sail on the mini ship, diving, snorkeling and whatever I can do on the beach! But sigh..... Ah Li never told us we'll visit the beach. I felt like a stupid girl, wearing sport shoes, long jeans and a vest to the beach. Well, it is not just me, but my entire family wore something similar as mine.

What can I do other than taking self portrait pictures?
Not going to waste the chance.

Bad tourist guide.
:(

There is a small garden just above the Seashells Museum. Nothing else special other than the unique statue.

Again, thanks to my cousin Kiiro for taking good pictures of mine - undeniable. He should get a DSLR.

Dilemma

My head is cracking. I still can't make up my mind.
Uurrgggghhh....

What should I choose??!!

To take photography class or art class?

I like both and I can't take both. How pathetic. Choosing is always hard, especially when you have only two options and both are what you want so much in life. Why do I have to deal with this at this moment?

Gosh! No third option?
=(

I Actually Like Him, But Too Late

Just a day, the news of our Legendary Pop star death spread like wildfire via the media. Of course, the Internet plays an important role in this case and right now, nearly the whole globe know about it.

Who don't?
Our King of Pop has left us forever.

I thought I wouldn't feel much upon his death since I am not a huge fans of Michael Jackson, not as much as my mum. However, the mainstream has unconsciously penetrated my heart, causing it to ache in pain. Those repeated news from the media upon his death have forced me to receive the truth, that Michael Jackson do mean a lot to me.

I want to hear his voice.
I want to watch his sexy dance.
I want to see him, moon-walking.
I want to imitate his white socks, black shoes.
I want to watch his performance in the world tour concert.

You see. I was born with his voice and dance. I watched him with my parents when I was still an infant. I see people trying to imitate him from time to time, be it his style in dressing, hairstyle, voice, dance or attitude. Well, even till now. Just look at Britain Got Talent. How many contestants sing or dance his song? I mean each year?

True enough, there is no chance I can do anything about it, not even able to hear anymore news on his plastic surgery nor child molester accusation. This charismatic, legendary entertainer has left us with his contribution to the world - his voice, his dance and his story. I believe his name will be remembered for another century or more even in the coming generations.

MJ, you will always be in my mind and I appreciate whatever you have contributed to the world. May you rest in peace.

108m Nanshan Kwan Yin Statue

The enormous 108m tall Nanshan Kwan Yin statue with 3 sides, standing harmoniously on the South China Sea when Curryegg and her family continued their walks at Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone under the fierce sun.

Anyone in Hainan Province knows NanShan Kwan Yin very well. Just simply ask an old Hainan uncle in the toilet, I am sure he can answer it.

Em... I don't mean my dad.

Ever since the Grand Light Opening Consecration Ceremony on 24th April 2005, this whole Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone received a massive number of visitors each year. Not to mention the business in producing and selling joss-stick are expending, too.

Picture from HweiMing.

Along the way, there are a number of small and medium size temples before reaching Nanshan Kwan Ying. I did visit some of them.

Nanshan Kwan Yin is undeniably becomes one of the main attraction not just to the Buddhist visitors, but to non-Buddhist too. Almost everyone who steps on Sanya ground will not want to miss the opportunity in visiting thus grand holly place, despite the expensive entrance fees (RMB150).

Well, it is still worth it because you can walk till your legs break off. Trust me.

Anyone who is close to the South China Sea can easily spot the statue. It is amazingly higher than The Statue of Liberty. 108 meter!

Can you spot my umbrella?
It showed how badly I needed an umbrella to snap good picture.

And, I personally impressed with Nanshan Kwan Yin Statue besides the holiness reason. There are three sides of Nanshan Kwan Yin with different designs and you will have to circulate the statue to have full view.

Well, I could just manage to see two sides of Kwan Yin statue. To see the third one, I will have to travel the sea. Whoa!

The sky was clear with clouds floating around Mr. Sun. It will be a wonderful experience if the temperature in this area wasn't that high. Again, Sanya is the hottest area in Hainan Province. I wonder how those Beauty Pageant contestants could bear the heat.

Here are some photos which I managed to capture during my journey in Nanshan. They aren't that good if compare to my previous post because I hardly take pictures when I have to worry my umbrella being blown away by strong wind.

My shirt including my pants were all wet by my sweats while taking all these pictures. I wonder how could I manage to smile in every picture.

One word: I am professional!
*Muahaha*

We spent almost half a day here. We couldn't spend any longer as grandma couldn't bear to walk anymore. So, after praying and humming my wishes to Nanshan Kwan Yin, we headed back to the RMB20 tour bus which then, took us back to the exist gate.

Before we leave, each one of us had a good rest with fresh cold coconut on our hands. Nothing taste better than coconut water. It wasn't cheap though, RMB6 each without coconut fresh - because they are old, aging coconut. Anyhow, I am glad Hainan Island has it. Well, it is the only place in China which has Coconut tree. How pathetic.. :(

Before that....

A: I took.

B: He took.

Question:

I seriously wish to know which picture look better between mine and my cousin's skill? A or B? It has been an unsolved debate ever since these two pictures were taken.

Next post, Sea Shell Museum with Sanya famous beach.
