Touched By Words

I've just realized that I'm a sentimentalist.
I can't help but feel touched with lovely words left by others for me. The feeling is so great and I hardly stop myself from feeling being loved.

"Thank you so much and I know why I love you"

I woke up quite late today and I'd missed some part of my jobs in taking care of my grandma. She is still staying with us (well, she stays with aunt) every morning at 7 a.m, my family and I will take her to the bathroom to clean herself. Her difficulties in walking has failed her from walking out from the bed by her own. So, we have to push her to the bathroom using wheelchair.

After feeding her with Milo and biscuits and putting her to bed, I start to have my own privacy. *yes!*

I dance, I sing, I shout and I laugh alone.. (Gosh! Curryegg is going insane?)
Nah.. I'm just kidding. The next thing I do is to switch on the computer and go online. Here I am, sitting for nearly 2 hours. Lol...

Once I sign into my blogger account, I'm amazed with all these sweet comments sent by my readers. Ahwww.... Thank for your comments. I'm really touched by your words and thank for doing the polls. It's hard to describe how I feel right now.

You may be curious on how a person like myself can be so sentimental with words left by strangers especially in the Internet? Isn't that sound ridiculous because you never meet them, never have a real conversation with them and you don't even know their background. How can this happen?

Well, did this question ever bothering you? Yes? Nil?
Before this, I did think that strangers are untrusted and whatever their messages might be a lie. However the power of words have overwhelmed my worries because there are lovely people in blogosphere and we've a great time sharing stories together. Ahwww.... there's nothing better than blogosphere and I'm glad for being a part of it. Thank you again.

Besides comments in my blog, I did receive a lovely message from Serenity (Australia), a friend in Facebook. I was surprised for her ability to read my mind and my soul just by looking at my photo and the way I chat. (Add me in Facebook if you wish)

"She told me I'm a passionate girl who can achieve big dream if I'm daring enough to try. Unbelievably, she can sense that I'm not putting 100% for my goal and I've been a worrywart. She adds, my 'light' is not bright enough to shine others but once it does, it's my glory moment".

As I finished reading the message, I could feel my heart sinking into the honey.... sweet and lovely isn't it? Lol..

Honestly, there is something on my mind right now and I'm not sure whether my plan will ever work. Yes, it's a BIG PLAN!!!! A plan which I've sealed in my P&C file. Unfortunately, I can feel something is pulling me back- I guess I don't have the guts to try new things yet? In order to achieve something great within myself, I know I've to work beyond the border. Something out of my comfort zone.

I'll turn into my incredible 21 Birthday very soon. Wow! I'm going to be 21-year-old-chick! Haha.. It will be a sign that I'm grown up and on my way to be somebody.
*wink wink* (I want presents.. hehe... )

Ok ok.. I'm not the monkey.. Errr.. Just I like this picture.. hehe..
I'm the egg, remember?

OMG! Did I just say somebody? Let me check.
Yes. I mean 'somebody'..

But one question, who will I be?
Well well well... Shall I tell you in my next post? Let's make a surprise here. Maybe you can guess about the 'somebody' who I want to be?
Great idea!

This is what I call as.. "Friends"

Have a nice day and thank for your lovely comment and the poll survey in my previous post. Hugs... :)

May I know More About You?

Sometimes I wonder....

Who are my readers?
Where are they from?
Why are they here?
What do they love to read?
Which type of post do they love the most?
How do they reach my blog?

And all those 5W+1H questions keep spinning in my mind. It's not that I don't like readers! I love my readers a lot...lot...lot, more than you know. Frankly, the main reason why I love readers is because of they will leave me comments- valuable comments which are synonymous with feedbacks for my blog or my posts (or both!).

The reason why I turn myself into a Blogger user instead of Friendster is because of I want a bigger exposure in networking, not until I know that I can make money as well. It's always fun to meet new people and become friends at the end. No man is an island, do you agree with me? I was an active blogger in Friendster before (my Friendster's blog). However, I didn't get much feedbacks from my friends in Friendster and I thought they might not interested with whatever I blog there. Soon, I created an account in Blogger and start pouring my story into this blog, expecting a bigger range of niche. Well, it does happen. Thank you to all my readers. Hugs.. I love you the most..

*Jumping up and down in front of my computer*

The number of reader in this blog is increasing day by day and this does motivate me to blog more often. Thank you my friends for paying your visit to this blog. I'm glad to have you here. However, I'm still puzzling with the '5 Wife + 1 Husband' questions. I wish to know you deeper, as deep as I can, may I? Well, don't worry. I don't need your personal details. Just help me to answer some simple questions in my poll which is placed next to my sidebar (The blue pool which is on your right hand side). Let me get a clearer idea about my readers. Wow! Isn't that great? This is my first time getting in touch with my readers... ;)

Since I'm eager to receive your comments (eggs), I wish to receive some feedbacks from you on your 'like and dislike' about how the comments being stored, used and responded. Just leave your answers in the blue poll. They will help me to understand your needs and expectations. Thank you in advance!

Here are some details I need to add for the poll. Just in case some of you might not know what's the Cbox mean, it's a chat box which I've placed beside my side bar. Some of you might not have a cbox. It's ok. Just click the answer on 'what's a cbox'.

The last question of the poll will be, "Is it Ok if Curryegg blog about your comment and post it up in her blog?". Here is one of the example I've done before.

Last but not least, you can leave an 'egg' (comment) for me at the end of this post. Do tell me your opinion, suggestion or anything which has come up in your mind. I will be glad to hear them... ;)

Have a nice day.. Hugs.. ;D

Are You Ready To Be A Panda?

Uhh?
Am I ready to be a panda?

Oops...
I'd asked the wrong question.
I mean "Are you ready to be a KUNG FU Panda??"
Muahahaha....

I just couldn't stop myself from telling others how nice the movie is. Yes. It's the latest movie (or should we call it as cartoon?) from DreamWorks. I swear, it's as hilarious as Shrek 3!

I went to the cinema for this movie yesterday and all I can say is, the movie is worth for the RM2.70-per-liter-petrol cost!! Sigh.. life is getting tough recently. I jailed myself for nearly a week ever since our Prime Minister announced the new price for electricity and petrol. Geerrrr..... Where's my life? ;(

Ok. Stop that rant and continue with our Kung Fu Panda movie. There are two version of languages you can get- English and Cantonese. I picked the Cantonese version and it's absolutely fantastic!

At the very first moment, I started with a chuckle. Next, I begin to giggle... And without any sign, my eyes were filled with tears before I found myself rolling on the floor. Lol... I just couldn't stop myself from laughing and I guess, I was not alone. I could hear most of the audiences were laughing as loud as mine. Haha... That's great!

One of my favourite part:

Char Siew Pau? (Pork Bun?)

This is how a large-over weight-cute panda being trained... Kung Fu Panda? Serious?

Honestly, I love the story and the way they present it. I should rate the movie for 4.6 over 5 for the effective sound effect, beautiful drawing, creative storyline and you name them. However, the movie is kinda short- One an a half hour? Frankly, I haven't finish my laugh!!! Uuhh... I want more! More!!!

By the way, I didn't notice the Panda's voice is actually from Eason Chan while the monkey is Jacky Chan's voice (Cantonese version)! No wonder they sound familiar. So, do this add another point for you to watch the movie? Yes? No?

Eason Chan (Hong Kong)

18SX and 18PL!!! Again?
Oopss.. Let me pick another picture of him...

Ahh.. this is better..
Jacky Chan (Hong Kong)

There's a message behind this story which I want to share it with you.

There's no any secret of success other than believing in yourself.

Give yourself a couple of seconds to think about this message. Isn't that make sense? It is motivating, isn't it? I heard somebody is asking me for the movie review. Ahh ahh ahh.. I'm not going to tell you the story but don't worry, I can show you the trailer here.. *naughty wink*

English Version (Too bad, there's no trailer in Cantonese)

What should I conclude for this movie? It's damn, hilarious!!!! Oopss... Watch it or you will miss the laugh-out-loud moment. Muahahahaha....

Pay a visit to: Kung Fu Panda website
I just get this cool free widget from this website. You can play games, watch trailers, make your own panda and read your daily fortune cookies! Isn't that great!

Muacks.. I love panda who knows Kung Fu...
Hugs.

Standing Eggs

Oh My God!
I've missed the chance to play with eggs yesterday. Curry Egg shouldn't miss the chance. Sigh...
How can I miss it?

There was an evening news about how the people made their chicken eggs stand. They claimed that the eggs will stand by themselves if you put them nicely on the flat table and it happens only once in a year. I thought they were joking until Nester, one of my blogger friend really did that experiment by himself. To make the eggs stand, you must do that at 12pm sharp on the 'Rice Dumpling Festival' which mean, yesterday! (8 June 2008)

Sigh... I miss the chance. I might make my eggs in the curry dancing on the bowl. Muahaha.. ;D

Anyway, it's ok. I still manage to watch the egg lively from Nester's video clip. Yeah. You're the best! Thank you... ;)

Nester, can you please remind me for the next following year so that I can try it myself? Haha.. thank you.

Love, From Penang

I love my granny in Penang a lot!
Muacks muacks.

Look at what she has sent to me!!!

Well, I know they look a bit messy in this photo. It's ok. We can play a small guessing games here. Good idea? Haha.. So what kind of stuff will a lovely grandmother send to her grand daughter who live far far away from her? (well, KL is not that far I guess.. haha..)
Let's make a good guess on this.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Ikan Masin? (dried salted fish)
Fruits? (Like banana, papaya and durian? wow..)
Homemake biscuit? ( she doesn't know how to make this)
Gold? (Hey, this doesn't make sense at all!)
Diamond? (Ok, stop guessing)
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

If one of your answer is pointing to this.... I guess, YOU'RE CORRECT!

Yup.
It's rice dumpling or is well known as "Bak Chang" among the Chinese community. Ohh... It's so tempting. Can I have a bite right now?
:P

Looking at this bunch of "bak chang", it has reminded me about my mum's mother. Let's call her granny. Few year backs, when I was still staying with her, I used to help her making dumpling. It's a hard task for me and time consuming as well. The proses of making the rice is easy but not the wrapping proses . Oh.. No no no... I can't wrap even a single one. They will drop and I don't understand why? Hmph.... :(

Here are some of my 'evidences' in showing that I did help my granny.. Haha..

It was about four years ago and look at my nerdy look. Haha.. I guess some of you've never seen me in short hair. Did I change a lot?

Yes?
No???

Do let me know your answer. It's fun to get some responses from you... :P
Other than my granny's homemake "Bak Chang", she sent me a bunch of sugar canes as well. They are FRESH!
Viippeeeeeeee!

And my mum just couldn't wait any longer once the sugar canes were left on the table. She 'slaughtered' it and start chewing for juice. OMG! Mum. How could you forget about me? Left some for me!!!

My father's mother (let's call her grandma) is still staying with us till my semester break ends. Her right arm is broken and need a strict care from us. We have to control her meal. Wait a minute. That's mean, no dumpling for her? Sob... it's unfair!

Anyway, curryegg get this mischievous thought. She may not eat, but can snap a happy photo with the bak chang right?
So.. this is it...

Hugs...
Love you granny and grandma.. ;)
