I Need Blog Update

Seriously, like very seriously I need to update my blog. It has been an abandoned blog since the past month. Well, there are so many things happened in my life and I can’t recall how they occurred.

Well, they are not important because what I have learned is that finding and gaining insights from the ‘uninvited incidents’ are what matter most. It is a life journey which we all should learn, grow and live.

A big bear hug is what I need from you.

Not going to write any further as I know I will write more and spoil my beauty sleep (emm.. it’s almost 2am in the morning. still beauty sleep? lol).

Will be back again for sure. So stay tune ;)

Learning to dance in the rain

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain”.

From PeopleWhoInspireUs

What a meaningful quote and I find it true. I remember there are many storms that I have come across throughout my life and it was devastating. Fear, hurt, anger and sadness haunted me when stormy season arrived. Deep down in my heart, I hope it will end as soon as it could. Well, no one likes stormy day right?

I am facing one right now but this time, I am looking at it as a positive development and growth for both of us. It’s a contribution in developing a deeper and purer love. Well, it’s not as easy as this is written. Sadness and fear are still taking place. However, this stormy season will teach us a greater lesson which we have yet to learn and discover.

If we can stay longer and have faith in sunny days, maybe the storm will leave us a field of blossom colourful flower and greener land?

I believe I’ve grown up and are more mature in understanding the phenomenal of life. I realize that everything happen for a reason. When thing happened, take it as a challenge and face it with patience, wisdom and bravery. Or we might loss this opportunity to understand more about ourselves, people and life.

Life is about learning to dance in the rain. That’s true. Well, maybe with the company of shampoo, conditional, brush and towel too?

P/s: I am praying for those who are facing a hard battle in life are blessed with stronger heart and mind. Believe in the possibilities that things are getting better each time you face and put in effort. God bless.

TM Everyone Connects 1st Anniversary

Have you visited the Everyone Connects website?

I have just visited it and find myself having fun playing with the cute avatar and chit-chatting with other visitors. It is like a ‘live chatroom’ where you can move your avatar around, meet other avatar and chat. It’s fun!

This youth-oriented website www.everyoneconnects.net is created by Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s (TM) recently as a celebration of its 1st anniversary. It’s a total fresh look with the introduction of new features and applications. The birthday celebration must be very grand because it was graced by Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Group Chief Executive Officer of TM, Rozalila Abdul Rahman, Chief Marketing Officer, TM and Imri Mokhtar, Executive Vice President, Consumer, TM.

EC anniversary (1)

EC anniversary (2)

How do I know? Because I read from the article! Thus I check out the website and I think you should too. Trust me, you can learn about TM services while entertaining yourself.. Winking smile

You will be able to interact within the communities, say ‘hello’ to one another, watch video clips, listen to music, view sporting events and movies. Also, I saw contest column where you will be informed with the upcoming events.

Just the problem is, I feel I am a complete weirdo because my first experience chit chatting with the community (a group of users) is so… weird. When I visited this website, my first conversation with others were as below:

Curryegg: Hi

User A: Hi. Ko ape ni (what are you?)

Curryegg: Emm.. curryegg?

User A: ………………………….

User B: ………………………….

User C: Hahaha….

Emmm… I thought my name is sweet and unique? Green with envy

Be Part of ChurpChurp Today

Notes: I am blogging from my personal experience with churpchurp. So, let the words guide you into my point of view.

If you are one of my Twitter followers at http://twitter.com/curryegg , you will know how much I love ChurpChurp.

Wait! Why are you giving me the puzzle look? o_O

Don’t tell me, don’t tell me you have never seen this big eye, little blue bird? Its name is ChurpChurp. In my case, I called him (I assume the bird is a he)Money Bird’. Why Money Bird you ask?

Ever since I’ve signed up with ChurpChurp, this little blue bird has become my best company whenever I am online. He has never failed to bring first hand information to me like promotion from Airasia, up-coming event from Heineken, new product from Friso and special offer from Celcom.

All these information have allowed me to be in the VIP lane and grab things faster than others because the news I received are days (or weeks) earlier. Take AirAsia for example. Before AirAsia release the Fabulous Fly-Day promotion at Airasia.com, I receive the news 2 days earlier before others and what happen next is, I managed to snatched tickets to Australia for next year at CHEAP PRICE!

Of course, the VIP lane isn’t my main focus for this post because what is more interesting is that this birdy bring MONEY. Yes, MONEY!!!

He has been bringing money-making opportunity to me ever since I’ve signed up with ChurpChurp and I am thrilled!  Although, it’s not a big sum of money at least, I am making something online. A student like me with no income (relying fully on parents) find every opportunity available in the market to make some pocket money and ChurpChurp is a good channel. It’s a friendly user generated website, safe, established, easy to learn and earn.

How I know? Because I am using and earning of course.

This is the proof:

churp11 copy

And believe it or not, I have cashed out once and will soon cash out my second cheque. Weeeeeeeeeee!

Also, I am glad that ChurpChurp take good care of my friend who have signed up last month when I introduced this to her. She has been receiving assignments consistently every week and even received free premium movie passes too.

Aren’t all these good reasons to be part of ChurpChurp?

By now, I will publish this post and email this link to all my close friends, family members, relatives and boyfriend to immediately sign up for churpchurp. They don’t know how much they have missed out!

And for you, here…

To churp or not to churp, your choice.

P/s: I personally love the idea of spreading, learning and attending charity event like ‘Get On Board To Stop Child Abuse’. Would love to see more event like this in future.

The Real Xplay Shout! Awards, Bukit Jalil

Frankly, I am disappointed with myself for not being able to attend Xplay Shout! Awards last Saturday (20 November 2010) at Bukit Jalil. I have missed out the most happening event in town and I still can’t forgive myself.

nov2010 020

I was being invited with a pair free VIP passes to the event one week earlier (when I was at Shout Party at The Library) and I was so excited with the idea of witnessing our local artists performing on stage and receiving awards. It is almost like the MTV Awards style, just this is cooler because it is firstly organized by Xpax for our local artists and it involves various media partners which include 8TV, FlyFM, Red FM and Suria FM.

My heart really sank in while browsing all the photos and interview in Shout Awards’ website (

Link). All those happy faces, highly fashion artist, happening performances and the crowds contributed more to my disappointment. Why I fall sick on that day? Dear oh body? =_=

June (my coursemate) and I have been wanting to watch Miz Nina’s performances because we heard she is a great singer who can give breath-taking performances with her hot body. Look at the pictures!

And I really wish to see the real Yuna. I have just learned about her not long ago and fall in love instantly to her voice and self-composed songs. I love a singer who doesn’t just own a powerful vocal but who are also creative in making own song and perform in own style. Two words, genuine and uniqueness.

Well, I can’t do anything when my biological condition wasn’t properly functioned. I believe it is due to my consistency in producing stress when the exam and deadlines of assignments are just a stone throw. What to do? =((

I can see that Shout! Awards 2010 is a success and I believe there will be another one very soon. So, I am not going to miss the next one in future. Not anymore… please..

Xpax Shout! At The Library

You know what?

When I first received the invitation to Xpax Shout party at the Library, I seriously thought of this…. [see photo below]

xpax26 Ok. I’m just acting. I don’t really read boring, old books (unless i’ve no choice) =(

Updated: But netbook, papers and pencil box are real. No acting. lol.

Well, I’ve been spending most of my time in my campus library looking for relevant data for my research study since the beginning of the semester. Objects which I see the most are books, journals and magazines. I seriously think that I can make UM library as my second home… =_=

Of course, the Library which I was being invited is obviously 10th times different. I believe, it should be one of the most happening pubs in this city. Thanks to Xpax from Celcom for offering me 2 free VIP passes so that I can bring my friend.

xpax4  Me with hat

xpax5 She with gorgeous hairband and her name is June =)

Seriously, I am glad to receive free passes where June and I can skip the long, i mean looooooooooooooooong queue before the entrance or might just leave and go back.

Our VIP passes

Go Back!!? Alright, you know I am just kidding.. Cos how can i leave when I know it’s going to be a happening night? I still can wait if I was lining in the queue as there are cool prizes and rock bands!

I did fill up but no one call pun. so no free prizes =/

Looking at this big ‘X’ it remains me of this tagline, “Ada X, ada Pax ada Segalaya

See how happening this Xpax Shout party is! I have never been to anything as rock as this. I am glad that I wore something ‘rock and bold’ for this event. It fits the theme and the atmosphere. Scroll down if you don’t believe me (how dare you)

DJs who are good in bringing out the mood from the audience

xpax27My favorite singer. She has the attitude, man! Love her.

The mood in The Library with no real books.

Besides cool prizes and rock bands, I have made new friends with new bloggers during in the event. It is great to catch up with the blogging community once in awhile. Well, I realized there are so many new bloggers lately and I am learning to remember all these new faces. Suddenly, I feel myself getting older.. *sob*

The Escape To Malacca

I have not made any travel, any further than my campus lately. Not even to the mall (emm.. ok lah.. last week just been once) or nice restaraunt (emm.. is Italiannies with the ladies counted? but that was like 2 weeks ago).

So, last 2 weeks during Deepavali, Huan had planned a couple’s trip and Eric and I were being invited. Hearing the idea at the first place had lit up my face. “Wow, couple trip with my dear friend? That’s really something new to me”, I secretly whispered to myself.

Nyonya cendol and ice kacang @jonker walk

She said, the reason why she invited me because she had read that in my Facebook status, I wanted a trip to Malacca so badly (i thought she really sincerely planned that for me? no?) So, she called me up that night and the next thing I realized was we were stepping Malacca together with our boyfriends. Cool right?

Huan and Imelaka12

P/s: I think both of us are inspired by the recent movie ‘Eat, Play, Love’ where we tried to eat as much as possible, play as badly as we can and love as deeply as we can. Lol.. what am I writing seriously?

It will be a perfect trip if there was no traffic jam and hot weather. Well, i know that there is nothing as perfect as we want to. Thus, i still love this whole trip though it was a short one.

Going to Malacca has refreshed my dull brain. That long over of books reading and brain cracking really paint grey colour (lifeless) over my life. Although I’d been to Malacca for so many times, I love this new experiences with my buddy and love.

Oh.. did i forget to mention this?

I made new friends to with Shawn (Huan’s bf) friends who come as a couple. Too bad, i didn’t manage to snap picture with them. Hope that there will be next time.

It’s good to recall all these experiences again in the middle of the night because it somehow opens up my ‘young heart’ again. I want to enjoy and have fun as much as possible – AFTER EXAM and THESIS SUBMITTION!!!!

It will be another 1 month but then.. I still can have fun in between right? =P
