Who Are The Big Mac Chant Winners?

Big Mac Chant.

“Two All-Beef Patties,
Special Sauce, Lettuce,
Cheese, Pickles, Onions
On A Sesame Seed Bun!”

(read this in 4 second and you'll get a free BIg Mac in McD outlet)

Most of the Nuffnangers in Malaysia are competing for RM 10,000 since in the beginning of May. It was organized by Mc Donald and Nuffnang and now, the video submission and voting session are closed. Yes. It's over and now they are looking for the winner!

Before this, I'd planned to enter this video competition. However, I gave up. Why? Firstly, I don't eat beef. I'm a Buddhist and ever since I was an infant, I don't take beef till now. (accept milk..lol..) If I want to make a video which requires me to show how tasty the 2-all-beef patties is, I know I will fail. Hahaha....

Secondly, I'm bad in tongue twister. Chanting for the whole phrase within 4 seconds in front of the camera will kill me immediately. And... You don't wanna see how dumb Curryegg looks like, right? Lol.. ;D

Finally, I'm not as productive as THEM... They are so supercalifragislisticexpealidociously (learn from Joshuaun) creative! Darn! How will I ever compete with them in video editing, acting skills, charming looks, creative idea and etc etc etc? Lol..

So, rather than crashing my head into pieces looking for ideas, I prefer waiting for their products and happily enjoying their works right now. Oh ya, and I can blog about them! Hehe... *goyang-kaki*

While browsing from page to page in the website for videos, I've finally picked out my Top 13 (trying to make it top 10 but I failed to eliminate them) video clips which I think they're worth to be shared. I just simply adore these video clips...
Have a look.

This is one of the most craziest idea from Kennysia. Lol.. Watch this or you will miss Osama hunting for burger.

This is my favourite romantic video clip. Ahwww.... I love this! It looks so real.. However, the votes are not as much as others. Anyway, you're in Top 1 in Curryegg.Com. Lol.. Wish you all the best!

I shall say:
"Well done to all of you for all the effort you've put in. You've really done a great job! Bravo!!". We (Malaysian) shall never look down on our ability because... Malaysia Boleh! (Malaysia Can) Haha...

All the best for the result, Nuffnangers! I feel like wanting to know the result right now. Who will win? Who is the winner of the RM10,000? Who? Who? Who?
Oohhh... Tell me!

Flooded With Books

Books!
Boookkssss!
Boooookkkksssssss!
Boooooooookkkkssssssss!!

Did I ever tell you I love reading books? Ever since I was a child, I love books. Of course, I don't mean story books because I didn't know how to read. Unfortunately, my parents were working very hard in pursuit our financial needs. So, I rarely being taught to read like any other kids. *sob*

Anyway, I still love books.

  • Age 2-4: Colouring Books
  • Age 5-12: Comic Books (Doremon, Dragon Ball, Sailormoon)
  • Age 13-17: Academic Books (PMR and SPM)
  • Age 18-now: Novels (Especially Chick Lit and Fantasy story) and motivation books

As you can see, my choices of books are changing over the age. I guess it's because of the environment and my own development has changed the way I choose the type of book I read. Did this happen to you too?

As for now, I love Chick Lit and motivation books. I've a great passion in reading these kind of books. It stimulates my hormone(adrenaline, endorphine or oxytocin) unconsciously! Haha.. I will feel greatly in love and motivated once I've finished the books. Ohh... I need books right now!

Lucky to know that Popular is organizing another BookFest in KL Convention,KLCC, Kuala Lumpur and I'd done my shopping few days ago! (That's why I'm late to update my blog yesterday, sorry...)

These are the books I'd bought! Ohhhh... I'm so deeply in love with them..
"Honey, mama is here blogging about all of you.."

There are 9 books all together and I still feel like buying another 2 books: The Secret and Confession Of A Shopaholic. Both of these are real good books especially The Secret (Most of the people were purchasing this book!) Sigh... I'm running out of budget which has caused me to return the two great books on the shelves. Sob.. Don't worry, I will get you next time.. Promise.

Anyway, I don't have to worry because I've these 5 best-seller books with me. Hehehe.. *evil laugh*

"P.S. I Love You" from Cecilia Ahern and "Shopaholic & Baby" from Sophie Kinsella are the novels which I'm dying to own. They have caught my attention when I came across with a magazine. The editor has made a review on these books and I'm eager to get them straight away once I was in the book fair. Yes!!!
And they are cheap! RM 23.90 each.
Isn't that CHEAPP!!!!

Next, my favourite author, John Gray who is very famous with his first book: "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus". I like his findings and suggestions on how to get a desirable relationship with your love one. He's using Humanist approach as well in psychology.

I should say, this is a MUST HAVE book especially you're in a relationship. There are infinite problems which you will face when you're in a relationship like mistrust, misunderstanding, dishonest and etc. These problems will often lead to arguments, quarrels and fighting. His book will show you the secret of building a healthy and loving relationship with your partner by showing the differences between men and women and providing some useful tips for good communication with your partner.

This "Why Mars & Venus Collide" is his new book and I've bought it! Yes yes!

I love mind-mapping

Besides John Gray, Tony Buzan is my 'guru' in helping me to develop my cognitive thinking. He's the founder of Mind Mapping. OMG! I love him so much. Last May, Tony Buzan came to Malaysia and was given a workshop in Taylor College, KL. I had the intention to go but.... RM2,000 is really killing me! @_@

Oh my. Sob.. No picture or signature with my idol. Sigh...
I could only effort to buy his book after doing some monthly saving.

Lately, I'm interested in business. I don't know why but I'm interested to know slightly about this field. Maybe it's because of I need money desperately which will slowly change my choices of books.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

So this "Why You Want To Be Rich" from Donal K. Trump (The founder of Apprentice) and Robert T. Kiyosaki has caught my attention to grab that book hurriedly without thinking twice. The book cover with the attracting title and 2 famous faces has paralyzed my rational thinking. I know I don't need the book but I'm curious to know these billionaire's and millionaire's secret (and I'm reading it now! Lol..)

When I was about the leave the fair, my eyes was caught by these chick lit novels. Look at the titile and the cover. They are so attractive.
And the most attractive thing is...

This offer. Buy 3 for 2!
That's mean if you buy 3 books, they will charge your for 2 books.

And each book just cost for RM 19.90. It's quite thick! Ohhh... my... Immediately, I grabbed 3 of the most attractive novels and headed for the counter. I know I must own these books! Haha...

Somehow, my attempt to pay for the books was failed, again when I passed by a book, "Happiness" by Joan Duncan Oliver. I don't know why but I'm interested with the title. Happiness. Lately, I'm kinda stress with my family and I wish to get a motivation book to help myself. I know the book will help me by just flipping a few pages.

The inspiring words, the colourful pages and beautiful design have turned my negative feeling into positive one. Amazing! As I always believe that right words, cheerful colour and creative design will affect one's mood and I'm right! They did influence me.

And wait a minute. It's just RM 13.70 for the book (after discount)? Isn't that worth it? It's darn CHEAP!!!

*Put it on the basket and run to the counter!*

As a result, I'd spend hundreds of ringgit on these wonderful books and I'm going to continue my reading. I wanna be a book-worm for weeks! Hahaha...

P/s: Oh ya, before I left the place, there was a free seminar, given by a young guy, Arthur Tan. It's about how to be a billionaire talk. Oh my. I missed that because I needed to rush back (to avoid KL traffic jam. Sigh..)

However, I managed to snap some photos of him. He's from Malaysia (Thank Lynnz for your information)

Pictures as a prove that I'd been to Bookfest 2008! Haha...

He's handsome! Lol..
He was selling his book at the same time. What a real Businessman!
;)

Big Strange Fish Which Has Appeared In The Newspaper

Let me proudly present you..
The biggest fish in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang.
*Ta-da*

This fish has caught a lot of attention among the Chinese in Malaysia because of its scales. Fish scales? Are you serious? Yes. I'm serious. If you try to spend some time looking on its scales, you will notice some numbers on it. Have a look..

Can you get four numbers on the scales? Get a lottery ticket immediately and win yourself some cashes (Magnum, 1+3D and Toto). Haha.. I'd interviewed the owner of the restaurant and she told me a lot of people who came to her restaurant, Foon Lok had won the lottery and it's because of the fish! Serious? They claimed the fish will show numbers to them. So, ever since then, her business are growing. I guess the fish is bringing her good fortune?
;)

And don't siao siao ah..
Never look down on this big-eyes-fish!
The fish appeared in the local newspaper before.. Really?

OMG!
I really couldn't believe it. This strange-large-fish has attracted thousands of attention, even the media as well? Watch this video and try to observe its scales. Who knows, you might strike the lottery number? Haha...

Five Year Old Blind Genius Pianist

I love Facebook!
I love all my friends in Facebook!
I love every awesome stuffs in Facebook!

Facebook!
Facebook!
Facebook!

Heeelllppp! I couldn't stop myself from falling deeper for Facebook. Why? You ask me why? Who can resist all those cool facilities and games in the largest social community (Facebook) right now? I don't know why I couldn't stop myself from mentioning the word "FaceB*#k". God! Please save me...

It's all because of my secondary school teacher, Mrs Joanne... She has caused my unstoppable tears.. Sob... She had sent me a very touching video clip in Facebook. My eyes still filling with tears right now. Gosh..

This is the best ever video clip I had ever watched!
(Psst.. Prepare a box of tissue before watching this)

It is hard for me to believe her ability in playing the piano so good although she's blind. She can play any song after hearing it once. ONCE! Can you believe it? She's really incredible! I feel embarrass with myself. I've been learning piano since age 7 but I can't play as well as her.

OMG! Digg me a hole and I want to hide my face in it.. (#_#)

I never realize that I've been given everything ever since I was born. I've a pair of good functioning eyes, ears, nose, mouth and body but I never appreciate them. Instead, I complain them a lot. Sorry mum, starting from now on I will appreciate my eyes and my height. Lol...

Watching this video clip has really touched my heart. This little girl is blind but. However, is very talented in music which has made her a genius. I'm not just admiring her ability in playing the piano well but her strong determination and desire in learning the piano as well. This little girl has never give up of hope although she live in the world of darkness ever since she was born. We shall learn from her.

OMG!
My eyes are filling with tears again. Sob...
Again, thank you Mrs Joanne for sending this video clip to me. hugs..

Different Group Of Friends, Different Kind Of Feel

During my last visit to Penang, I'd met a few of my secondary school friends. It was great because everyone still looks the same. Same face, same style, same height. What else? Lolx..

We had a really great time sharing our stories with each other. We joked, we laughed and we teased one an another just like before we left Form 6 (Pre-U). Well, whenever there is a semester break, we will definitely meet up. Ohh.. I miss them..

Latest photo.

(From the left: Me, Soon Tatt, Chin Hui, Li Qian, Kim Siah, Racheal and Jie Xiang)

Few years back.

I look like a nerd. Lol..

After the meeting, it makes me realize that different group of friends will give different kind of atmosphere. I know you've experienced this isn't you? Lets say there are group A, group B and group C which you know them in different places (primary school, secondary school and church) The feeling isn't the same when you mix with group A, group B, group C respectively.

For instant, in different group of friends, we will behave differently. Agree? The way we speak, act, dress and expression are different. I don't know why. I guess, it's because of we're mixing with different kind of people with different cultures, belief and age. This can be explain in Social psychology (but I don't wanna imply any theory here. I'm having holiday now. Haha...)

I just simply miss them...

Junior and I
They are my cute junior when I was in my secondary school. However, I can't use the word "cute" anymore because, all of them are taller than me (why are you getting so tall?). Spending time with them will really cheer up my day. There will be no jealousy, no 'aunty stuff' (busy body) and less trouble. The funny thing was, they treated me like a little sister before although they're younger than me. Uhh?

The acting group.
During Pesta Tiong Hua 3 (an event held by the Chinese community in my hostel), I'd joined the drama group. I acted as a passer-by (K le feh).. lol.. We used to joke a lot and enjoy each other acting. Why? Because we don't look like the same person in real life when we're acting. Too bad, I just managed to know them for a month. What a short moment.

The drummers
I guess, I don't have to explain a lot about them because I've blogged this group before. Briefly, all of them are really sporty and nice people! We will help each other a lot.. :)

The Out-going group
Lol.. This picture was taken after Pesta Tiong Hua3 (to celebrate our hardwork), few months ago. It was my first time going out with them to Red Box, The Curve, Ikano and Midvalley. Yup. All at once! Do that sound insane? Lol...
Out-going and active are words which I can label for this group. I can play crazily without any doubt! Haha.. (I'm glad to know you all)

Coursemates group
This is another new chapter of my story. I've been knowing them for nearly a year and we're extremely close since we go to classes together, eat together, walk together, sharing the same bed together (uhh?) One thing, they're really helpful and kind. Thank God. I'm really glad to know them. Coursemates, another 3 years to go. Lol...

Blogger group

I just have this group photo which was sent by a blogger friend during Traffic Jam. Thank you. I guess, I should have take more group photos next time. Look merrier. When you spend time with bloggers, there is always one thing in common among each of them. What else? Everyone will own a camera (or at least, a camera phone). The motto here will be, be daring and active! Dare to know people and actively take photo. Haha... True?

I love blogger events!
Thank Nuffnang for starting it... ;)

During prompt night.

Roommate group

Now I miss my roommate (Cyndi: who wears white belt in the photo). Sometimes, the four of us will share our up and down together in the middle of the night (after class). It was a great experience! However, I don't think I will meet them anymore because the four of us are not staying in the hostel anymore.. Sob...

The working group

When I was still working for Khoon Hooi (a top designer in Malaysia), I've a group of friend who work in The Garden (opposite MidValley). The way they speak is totally different with mine. Maybe they've started working earlier while me? I was a bookworm.. However, I still manage to learn and join them. I should call this as a process of learning.. ;)

No matter in whichever group I'm, I'm still the same person you know at the first place. Maybe I will be a bit unnatural when we first met (either too quite or too excited.. haha..) But after some times, everything will normal. Haha...

OMG, I'd missed out my elementary and primary school friends. I should call them out and meet one day.

*grabbing the old diary and start searching for contact numbers*

Stop Barking!

When I'm so disappointed with my grandma's condition, someone has really made me mad. I'm kinda piss of with that uncivilized China girl. Everybody is trying to help the victims in SiChuan and this girl, she was voicing her dissatisfactions by recording a video clip? She cursed all the way.

SHUT UP!!!

I'm really getting emo here. People around the world are trying so hard to raise the fund for the victims and she as the Chinese who stay in China say such thing to her people? I'm a Malaysian and I'm trying so hard to help spreading the banner for China-Burma campaign and she.. what did she do? Blaming the earthquake victims for causing her life miserable?
What're the miserable things that she means?

Miserable for watching the same news on earthquake since day one?
Miserable for the grey websites during mourning moment?
Miserable for looking at the dead bodies?
Miserable for the bridges and brooms who failed to get marry?

She should be ashame with her curses. Let put another way round. If she is the victims and someone throw out words like what she did in the videoclip, how will she feel? Will she think that she deserve the to be punished by the earthquake? Gosh! Who are her parents? Please show up!

Sigh..
I really couldn't believe with what I'd heard from her stupid-idiot-rude video clip when I first visited Ced's latest post. If she can spend the time recording a soon-to-be-banned video, why don't she do something beneficial like the McDonald chanting video contest? She can get the chance to win RM100,000! Wait, I guess she wants to get notice from the media so that she can get popular soon? Lol... No day dreaming please.

Actually, I'm really emotional today. Grandma is sick right now. Sigh..

Sorry for bursting everything out on this post. I just wish that there are someone/somewhere I can share my feeling with. Thank for listening. Hugs..
Good night. I'm going to sleep now...
:)

No One Should Give Up, Not Even You

What's your feeling right now?
Can you feel the pain?
What can we do to help them?

Every photo here tell a story. No matter what, no one should give up, not even you. Life is fragile. No one will know what will happen in another few seconds. Therefore, be grateful with what you have and share your love with others. They need you.

Because...
When love is around, life is around.

Photos from: The New York Times

No one should give up their life, not even you. I know we can go through this, together.
Promise?
