Answer For 2nd Picture

Short Note: I'd been struggling the whole night fixing my computer. A sudden blackout occurred. Sigh... I've to re-edit my photos again in this morning. But don't worry. Everything is ok now. Enjoy my trip in XXXXX.... :P

Good morning my friend. How are you today?
Sorry for the delay of my post. There was a sudden blackout last night while I was editing my photos. UUhhh..... why it happened while I was half way finishing my job? Eeeerrrrr.... Should I be angry? Well, it's ok. I should be happy for the incident because I had allowed myself to sleep early. Right now, I'm energetic and ready to rock my blog!

Lol......

So, anybody wanna make their last guess on my guessing games?
Where is this place?

From this picture, I believe you are aware of 3 main objects.
A tower, an oval shape object and a familiar car. Well, where is it?

Emmmm.....
Could it be the KL Tower? No no.... it is not in Malaysia..
How about the 101 Tower (Taiwan)?
Kyoto Tower (Japan)?

What about the car? It looks so much like a local car- Kenari.
But where are these egg shaped objects come from?

Let's hear from curryegg.com's readers.
Wwweeeeeeeee!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

# 1st detective - Nester

"I am not much of a travel guy but i think the empty egg skeleton look like some where in smart tunnel" (I only imaging, if our smart tunnel look like that i must have been missing a lot lately *grin*)

# 2nd detective - Joshuatly

"i dont think it is in KL..."

# 3rd detective - anymous

"perhaps in Thailand?"

# 4th detective - 3point8

"Hmmm...second pic. That car closest looks like a proton made car. and the van, is only something we can see in a not so rich asian country... Is that place in spore?"

# 5th detective -
the one who never give up in trying - 闇X7

a) First answer: "Somewhere in KL? (-o-)\...?"
b) Second answer: "Is it somewhere in Europe?"

c)Third answer: "Somewhere in China? Macau? Caz the tower seems like Macau Tower but since when Macau Tower is surrounded by egg shaped buildings?" ;p

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eeemmm..... Look like my 5 talented detectives are trying their best in guessing my photo. Well, sorry to say that, there is only one 'winner' in this games. Sigh... sorry guys. So, who are the lucky winner? Let me proudly present you, the one and only one...

闇X7

Lolx.... Congratulation!!!!!
What a lucky guy who managed to post in his answer before I woke up this morning. Haha.. I guess you have found out my previous posts on my Macau trip, right??

Oops.. Did I just say Macau?
Yup. It's in Macau and the tower is called the Macau Tower. Read my previous post on Macau Tower if you haven't. Click here.

It was raining cats and dogs during in my last day in Macau. It rained the whole day and I was trapped in the bus. Luckily, the bus driver was so kind, willing to travel around the town for us to have a look.

*touched*

Instead of sitting quietly in the bus, as usual, curryegg will spend most of the time, holding her camera and captured every valuable moment. Can you see the drops of rain water in some of the pictures? Take it as a proof that I was really in the bus. Lolx..

Well, about this giant eggs, they are the decoration in that particular area. I didn't get the chance to have a closer look since I was in the bus and the rain was like - Oh my God! Somehow, I have to make this confession, that the Eggs are not located near the Macau Tower. In fact, they are quite far. That's mean, the photo is just a trick for the eyes.. Hehehe... :P

Okok...
Don't angry k?
Curryegg has prepared some of the photos for you.

There are 3 main bridges in Macau and this is one of them. Each of them has different designs.

I guess we were a little lucky because the rain stopped when we were in the town. As a result, we managed to dropped by this famous historical wall. Well, it was a building hundreds of year ago. But right now, it left only the wall.

Ruins of St.Paul's, the façade of what was originally the Cathedral of St. Paul built in 1602.

Before we managed to snap a few more photos in the place, again, it rained. Sigh... why oh why? I just want a few more photos, can't I Mr. Rain? Sob...

Sadly, we left the place, wet and soaked.
"I don't wanna go home with nothing in my stomach. I'm cold and hungry!".

I guess God had heard my whisper. The rain stopped again when I reached a shop call Bossini. Thank God! Really thank... *smile*

So, I managed to snap a few more photos around the area. There are lot of shops which sell clothes and sourveniors.

There are lot of old buildings as well.

And I managed to snap a photo at a big lotus pond. Yeah! Lucky me... :D

Before I settled down in a restaurant for lunch, I had spotted something familiar.. Something.. something... Oh! Starbucks Coffee in ancient building. Wow! I guess the coffee must taste nice in there.

Well, my family and I didn't have lunch in there. Instead, we had our meal in....

Pa-da-pap-pap-pa...
I'm loving it!

Yes. We had our lunch in McDonald. At first, I was surprised when Kirro took us to McD. I was tired of fast food and I didn't wanna have any fast food when I was in foreign country. Enough for me to have them in Malaysia. Somehow, Kirro managed to convinced us to have McD in Macau.

The main reason is because of...

*oink*
*oink*

There was pork burger in McD! Ahwwwwwwww....
It was my first time having something non-halal in McD. Am I dreaming? Lol... And it tasted superb with sweet sour source on the grilled pork. Oh my. I will never ever forget the taste... :)

Gosh.
Now I miss McD in Macau...

Night & Day Views In Menara Taming Sari Melaka

I guess you guys must be waiting too long for the answer..

Well... emm.. emm... As I've gone through some of the answers in my comment box, unexpectedly one of you manage to answer it correctly. Wow! Impressive!

Bingo Bingo, Binga Binga, Banga!!!

Congratulation Kei. You manage to continue to the next round. Next round? Lolx.. Just joking.
She is right. The first picture is in Malacca. Kei, how did you know that? I expected the answer something like... KL Tower? Haha...

To be more specific, it's the Menara Taming Sari Melaka. I had been to the place and took a ride during in my previous trip in Malacca. It has been quite some times I didn't get to visit Malacca and Wow! Just a year, the place has developed like a brand new place (especially in Dataran Pahlawan). I had never expected something cool like this built in the middle of the town which is surrounded by history, in Malacca.

Can I give another wow?

"WOOOWWW!!!!"

When I was in Malacca last month, I managed to meet my friend, Jeff. He showed me around and took me to the tower. We managed to get a ride in that evening and it was so much fun! I could see Malacca from the top of the view!

*excited*

So, it started from the ground...
Gathering all the passengers... no seat belt nor air bag...
But with air-conditioning and good lighting...

Once majority of the seats are taken, puff!
Here we go!!!!!

The next thing you will hear from the speakers is something like this... "Welcome to Malacca. Thank for joining us in Menara Taming Sari Melaka. We hope you will have a good time with us"... Ok. To be frank, I don't remember any single word from the recorded voice. Anyway, the rough idea is something like this. Haha.. :P

So, this is how it looks like when I was in the highest view of the tower. Most of the photos are a little unclear. Sorry for that as my camera doesn't work well during in the night view. Sigh... DSLR... when are you coming to Curryegg mummy? :(

This is the Dataran Pahlawan... and Mc Donald! Haha.. :P

The traffic in Malacca... Emm... just a tiny one if compare to Penang Island or Kuala Lumpur..

Here is my ticket. Each adult will be RM10 (that is the offer price for particular season). The ride took about 10 minutes? Emm... I couldn't recall any more..

I guess I am too excited, getting the chance to ride on the tower. Happily, I told my dad and the next morning, I took another ride again with him. Oh my.. What happen to me? Was I going insane? Well, never mind. I want to see Malacca when it is bright.

The most handsome dad in the world... Ok.. dad force me to write this.. oopss...

The office of Menara Taming Sari Melaka..

Look at the pool! I heard from Jeff that this is the largest pool in Malacca? Ahwww... I wanna swim... Can I jump from here? :P

Again, this is Dataran Pahlawan.. Now you can see it clearly.. :)

Did you notice something? Something like a ship landing on the ground? Lolx...

Let me zoom for you. This is a historical ship from the Portuguese if I am not mistaken. Right now, it has turned into a maritime museum. Ahhwww... I had never been there... I wanna go... :(

So, this is me during day time in the tower. Lolx... I think I prefer the ride during in night time as it is not as warm as in the day time. The rays from the bright sun were hurtful for my skins.

Emmm.... remember, if you have the choice, choose the night ride. I know you will love the romantic atmosphere.. :D

P/s: I will answer for my second picture tomorrow... That's mean, you still have the chance to fill in your answer in my comment box. By the way, I guess I should give you the hint. It is not in Malaysia (which mean it's definitely not in Kuala Lumpur). So, where it is? Emm... question, question, question... XD

Curryegg's Art

Before answering anything for my previous post on where are those places in the photos, I have something interesting wanted to show you. Yes.. Something veli veli interesting...
Oh my...

I have sketched 2 pictures this afternoon and look at my art work! Nice?

Haha... they are inspired by my buddy, May. This is what she did... the pink nose pig. Haha.. cute?

Emm... I think we should create something unique and make our own cards or postcard. Then sell them!!!

Yes! Yes! Sell them and get $$$$
. Right now, I'm desperately wanting money. Muahahaha...

Why oh why? Well, remember my dream? I want to buy a DSLR digital camera using my money. Yes. 100% my own money..

But sigh. when will I get it?
I am still a student without any income...

*big sigh*

It's ok. Right now, I'm enjoying drawing something funny in the computer using my right hand. (Psst... I'm a left-handed). See, I can draw too using my right hand. Lolx... I think I should draw more starting by today.

*wink*

I've been digging all my pictures in my hardisk since this afternoon and Oh My God! I'd never known that I've such a big collection of them. Impressive uhh?

Haha...
Come come... I've something wanna share with you.

Look and make a guess at these photos. Where are there? Can you guess them? Lolx...
I think it's hard but then... haha.. I will tell you in next post...
Hehehe... How naughty I am.. :P

Back Into The Ancient Time

Last week, Shu Huan, Bei Shan and I were happily walking to the library to get ourselves something to read. We were joking, laughing and chatting all along the way before we spotted something shimmering in the middle of the road. Bei Shan thought that it might be a good idea to go nearer and have a look on it.

It was small, round and made by metallic.

"It is the ancient metallic pocket watch!", Shu Huan shouted excitedly.

"What? Ancient metallic pocket watch? Let me see, let me see!", I was surprised and immediately drawn nearer to Bei Shan to have a clearer view.

I guess I was too clumsy. The watch fell from my hand before I managed to examine it. A bright light came from the watch once it landed on the ground and the next thing we found out we were in a dark room. No. It was not a dark room.. Instead, it was a dark, cold building.

"Where are we?", Bei shan finally broke the silence. None of us manage to utter a single word when we found out we were in a strange place.

"Hey girls! Look at these!", Shu Huan whispered in a strange tone when she spotted something. I guess it must be something freaky.

"Oh my... where are we? And who are they?", I gasped when I managed to peep all these people in strange costumes over a tiny hole on the rough-old-wall. Wait a minute. I think I saw this costumes before. Somewhere in the TV about the ancient time. Gosh! We are back to the ancient time? Impossible!

My heartbeat skipped a few seconds.

Three of us were too afraid to walk nor speak. Tears started to burst out unconsciously and the next thing we did is hugging each other so tightly, in a corner behind the big wall.

"I wanna go back", Shu Huan sobbed.

I want to go back too, but how? I don't event know what is happening to 3 of us. I guess the metallic pocket watch took us here. Wait a minute. We should get back the watch and find way back to home.

Brilliant!

Now. Where is the watch?

.
.
.
*Update*
.
.
.

"Girls, let search for the watch. I think someone must have put a spell on the watch", I suggested to my friends. Thinking of it gives me goose bumps.. eeiih....

Quietly, the three of us searching for the item, in the hope to go back soon. None of us wanted to be trapped in this stone age. Noooooooooooo! PLEASE.
Someone please slap my face and wake me up. I must be dreaming!

We had spent nearly an hour looking for the watch. Unfortunately, the pocket watch still lost in sight. *sigh*

As we were about to give up hope in looking for the watch, unexpectedly Shu Huan spotted the watch. It was hidden between the rocks. Oh my GOD!

"We can go back now!!!!!!!", I jumped and shouted loudly.

As I was so excited holding the watch on my hand, suddenly, I felt something strange. Ouch! Someone poked my face.. Ouch!

"Hey!", I screamed as I woke up from the table. I could feel my saliva wetting my cheeks. I was day dreaming again? Wait a minute. Where am I?

"Kelly. Eehwww... your saliva.. You fall asleep just now?", Shu Huan was the one who poked my face.

"Yeah. I guess I am too tired", I answered nonchalantly.

"So are you going to join us? We are going to visit the PTUM Expose. Bei Shan is waiting out there", Shu Huan added.

"Of course! I miss my chocolate+peanut waffle!!! Let's go and get more!!!", immediately I kept all my books and dashed down to ground floor of the library with her.

**********************************************************************

Now I remember. The dream I had while in the library was regarding to the PTUM Expose (PTUM- Pesta TangLung University Malaya) in my varsity. I must have watched too much of Harry Potter. Lolx....

*smack*
*smack*

So, here is the reality with no metallic pocket watch...
Lolx....

Welcome to the University of Malaya in Qin Dynasty (I should find out about the dynasty again. Might be wrong..). Yes.. Qin Dynasty in which you can see Shi Huang Di walking around.. Hahah... We were back to 221BC-206BC. That's long long ago... :P

And we saw a gigantic mooncake!
Wow!
Where should we start eating this?
>_<
So far, I love this expose. I heart for their decoration and stalls especially the waffle stall! Lolx... They made a good waffle and I bought it twice! Sad to say that the expose just last for 3 days.. Sigh... no more waffle.. sob.. :(

It's OK.
I can get it somewhere else. No worries.

Come, lets join me into the world of Qin Dynasty... XD
The PTUM exhibition..

I love this background. If only if I can spend more time snapping photos in this reddish ancient background, that will be great! Hahaha...

Overall, the exhibition look like this.
All were done by the students. Isn't that fantastic? They used only papers, boxes and other recycle items. Wow... And did you see the horse on the floor? It was made by newspaper.. Lolx... Creative and innovative!

Nah!
This time I really see people wearing ancient costumes. No lie! This is the proof! Am I dreaming again? Slap me!

:P

Well, the three of us were having super fun time in the hall. Oh my.. I can't forget this moment when we were so crazy... hahaha...

Shu Huan and me...

Before we left the hall for class, Bei Shan spotted this sit... a sit for the KING! Wow! King!
I want to sit to! Lolx...

Again, the three of us we excited snapping photos. All of us pretended to be the KING! Well except me. I want be the QUEEN!
Haha...

Bei Shan- The King who can't effort a pair of shoes.. Lolx...

And I am the slave...
"Your highness...." :P

Shu Huan- The King who can effort a pair of shoes.
Lolx... I can't imagine if Bei Shan and Shu Huan read this... :P

And me, as The Egg Queen... aiyo... I should name myself as The Curry Queen la.. Sound so strange when I read this right now. Ahhww.... whatever..

Now, call me as The Egg Queen.
Muahahaha....

Serve me like this....

Lolx....
The end for my "Back Into The Ancient Time" story...
XD

P/s: I must have day dreaming a lot... :P
